Stift Melk - 1:1 Modell in Minecraft (Version 1)

Stift Melk, ein Wahrzeichen der österreichischen Barockarchitektur. Dieses Stift, das im 18. Jahrhundert eine Barockrenovierung durchging, haust heutzutage noch immer einige Mönche und inzwischen sogar ein Gymnasium! Nun ist das Stift Melk auch in Minecraft als Modell vorhanden.


Vor zirka einem Jahr fing ich mit diesem Projekt an, arbeitete aber die meiste Zeit nicht intensiv daran. Insgesamt dauerte dieses Projekt bis jetzt 78 Stunden. Das barocke Stift ist mit extremem Detail an jeder Ecke versehen, mit allen Höfen (Torwartlhof, Schneiderhof, Prälatenhof, ...) und Kaminen (^^).


Da dies lediglich die 1. Version ist, fehlen Teile wie der Stiftsgarten samt Pavillion, und das Stiftsrestaurant und der große Parkplatz. Diese ausgelassenen Bereiche kommen vielleicht in zukünftigen Updates dazu. Diese Map beinhaltet nur das Äußere des Stifts! Innenräume wurden großteils ausgelassen!

Melk Abbey - 1:1 Model in Minecraft (Version 1)

Stift Melk is a famous example of Austrian Baroque architecture. This abbey, renovated in the Baroque style in the 18th century, still houses some monks today and even includes a middle/high school! Now, there is a detailed model of it in Minecraft as well.


I started this project about a year ago, but I didn't work on it for most of that time. In total, this has taken me 78 hours to complete so far. This baroque abbey is extremely detailed in every corner, including all courtyards (Torwartlhof, Schneiderhof, Prälatenhof, ...) and chimneys (^^).


Because this is still only the 1st version, several parts on the outskirts of the hill have been left out, such as the large garden with its pavilion, the abbey restaurant and its large parking lot up in the woods. These areas may be added in future updates of this map. Keep in mind that this map includes only the Abbey's outside! Only very little interior has been built, as the exterior was what I wanted to focus on.
