a piece of advice that has really helped my mental health this year:
if you need to cry, cry. it's okay to cry. I don't care if it's over a piece of burnt toast. Let it out.
Imagining pouring a spoonful or water into a bucket everyday. At first, you might not see much of a difference, and the individual spoonfuls are so small. But after a while, the bucket will fill up, and eventually it'll overflow.
Likewise, you can't bottle up your emotions until they overflow. whether you realize it or not, those tears that you've held in affect you everyday. so, save yourself the stress, and let it out. You'll feel so much better afterwards. ♡
