Maybe you could give me some advice on my entry, it didn't make it:

I really tried; I made some pretty decent shading and highlighting, I came up with some lore, I even searched for nearly 30 minutes for a good name.

I'm no wizard with skinning but I feel like I should of at least been in the top 50, but everyone was, oddly enough, extremely competitive. Everything on there is hyper-realistic and extremely detailed, I was completely crushed by the amount of pro skinners that ended up in the top 50 :(

If you had the time maybe you could even remake the skin; not only would I love to see the skin remade by a pro skinner like you, I could really learn a few things. Compare my version to yours, see what I did wrong, maybe I'll do better in the next contest! :D

Your skin is pretty good, but I do have a little advice
Instead of using darker or gray-er colors, try shifting colors a bit, like just blue to a little purple
Can't remake the skin myself as I don't do requests nor will I be able to make any skin this week

Sorta, also like some parts should be darker than others especially, like under arms and between legs
