The Necrox-class shuttle was manufactured by CrystalX Stardrives in the decades leading up to the first Shadow Fleet attacks in Ivesceel, with production continuing until approximately ten years after the Doblasct Sector attack. The Necrox-class had been intended primarily for government officials, but also became slightly popular among corporate executives and some private individuals. The ship had two light laser cannons built by another Crytsaline defense contractor, Cyxtess Technologies, the IOA/ND L300-5, which although not able to match dedicated military hardware could disable outdated strike craft and converted commercial ships, allowing the Necrox-class to defend against typical criminal spacecraft. The shuttle had a crew of two pilots, with stations for four passengers. Accommodations for passengers were reasonably good, with a dedicated computer, storage space, sealed compartments for food and drinks, and other small comforts. The Necrox-class did not, however, have a refresher or the life support systems needed for extended space travel, as the shuttle was intended for only in-system interplanetary or atmospheric transport. The craft did have a rating 3.1.3 FTL drive to quickly move between planets, but not enough fuel or the thermal management systems necessary to travel to another star system.
