For this adventure map I have made custom models and textures to emulate a minecraft version of The Stanley Parable.
Thanks for checking this project out! :)
I hope to put up a download when I have more endings completed, but at the moment here is the completed cowards ending:

Who knows though, maybe one day considering the ultra deluxe edition is so good.
Btw, how hard was it to get the narrators voice in there? That's my main problem with my version.
Unfortunatley, I've kinda put this project to one side now I'm doing other things. I came across an issue where there's a maximum number of new sounds you can add to the resource pack before it stops working, and since the original game has so much dialogue, I haven't bothered trying to do any more.
I made the models using Blockbench and made the textures in paint.net
The narrator's voice was pretty simple, since I had the original game and could just copy the files and convert to .ogg files, and put them into the resource pack. Using a scoreboard timer, I stitched them together, and added the relevant triggers, like closing the door, being idle for too long and entering a new area. I had done a bit more that you see in the video, but since it's incomplete, I decided to only show this completed ending.
The main problem with the narrator is that (due to the /playsound command) it is affected by location and you can't get it to sound like it's in your head like the in-game music. Instead your stereo speaker/headphones make it sound like it's coming from somewhere in the 3D environment.
I can see a simplified, more 'Minecrafty' version of this working, but replicating the entire game would be a mammoth task and I admire anyone wanting to do that. This was more of a proof of concept for me.
If you like, I can upload the map with resource pack of what I have managed to do for you to take a look at?
I wish you luck if you decide to continue with the project :)
Maybe I'll return to it some day. In the meantime, I'll just sort out the map and upload it here shortly.
EDIT: lol nevermind i got it XD
