The sky continued to darken as I visited my mother's grave. I had gone straight to the graveyard after school, not even stopping for dinner. There was nobody else in my sight as I found Mom's headstone. After the earthquake, we rushed her to a hospital. She had sustained major head injuries and the Doctors couldn't save her. I was so sad, I cried myself to sleep. I never went out onto the balcony anymore. I missed mother's stories, and her amazing cooking. I decided to visit her grave tommorow, and here I was. I knew my dad would get very worried if I didn't hurry up. "Goodbye mother. Have a good day." I said to the tombstone in front of me. A sudden breeze swept through the graveyard. The trees swayed in the rush of wind. My hat ran off my head and into a nearby tree. A bank of fog closed in, and I began to get afraid. The tempature rapidly dropped. The fog swirled in the wind, and I felt the shadows around me stir. I was being watched, that I knew. I had to get out of this place before I froze to death. Two or more shadows began to take shape, and it wasn't a pleasant one. They were twisted, bent, and deformed. No, I thought to myself, this cannot be! The Shadow Warriors, defenders of the dead, are surely only in legend! But no, here they were, the wretched things! I ran, wondering why they wanted me. The fog was so thick, I couldn't even see my hand in front of my face. I made it to the fence of the graveyard, climbed over, and sat down. I caught my breath and looked behind me. There were seven Shadow Warriors sailing silently through the fog. I picked myself up and ran as fast as I could into a nearby alleyway. The sky was a dark grey, but all I thought about was the Shadows coming for me. I ran so fast, my hair was streaking behind me. I tripped on a large bump in the sidewalk. The Shadows easily caught up to me. The moment they touched me, I blacked out.

I awoke inside a large cage inside a big room. It looked like I was in a castle. I saw a very.. ah.. large woman sitting on a throne. I assumed she was the queen. "Welcome, child. You may be wondering how you got here.. I will answer those questions, but only if you can survive."
Well, cliffhanger! Hehehe >:3
