30 Things You Might Not Know About Minecraft
Note: some of these things may be the result of glitches, but all of them have been tested and reported by people over the last year, so only a minority of them are likely to be outdated. If you already knew something, I said you 'might' not know, so dono t complain to me. Some of these are useless, but others may be new to you so I hope youo ll be interested and enlightened...
1) Cats dono t take fall damage.
2) You can eat spider eyes, yet raw chicken will poison you.
3) Slimes will always jump in a straight line.
4) Eggs have a 0.4% chance of spawning 4 chickens at once.
5) Snowballs do 1 and a half hearts of damage to a blaze.
6) Pistons can move rails, but not obsidian or bedrock.
7) Even in the day, you can sleep during a storm.
8) There is a 0.5% chance of a sheep spawning with pink wool.
9) Rain has a small chance of filling a cauldron.
10) There are 3 strongholds per world, but unlimited fortresses in the Nether.
11) Soul sand on top of ice will make you walk even slower.
12) Endermen are actually saying o helloo , but backwards and distorted.
13) Ito s impossible to hit an Enderman with a snowball or an egg.
14) Torches will break gravel/sand blocks if they fall at least 1 block onto them.
15) You cano t see player names behind signs/chests, even when not crouching.
16) Swords break melons/cacti the fastest. Axes break pumpkins the fastest.
17) Pressure plates can hold water/lava without it spilling over.
18) Minecarts and boats can be broken by arrows.
19) Minecraft was inspired by Infinminer.
20) Technically, the player is 1.8m tall but can carry up to 45 million kg of items.
21) You cano t see water when looking through ice, and vice versa.
22) Redstone signals can travel through half-slabs.
23) You can use water to get rid of cobwebs.
24) Cacti destroy items that are thrown at them.
25) Red flowers are much more rare than yellow ones.
26) Minecraft was almost named: o Cave Gameo and o Minecraft: Order Of The Stoneo .
27) Drinking milk will relieve the effects of poison/potions.
28) Ghast sounds were influenced by C418o s cat.
29) There is a 0.01% chance of your launcher title saying o Mincerafto .
