"Apocalypse the Girl" an Epilogue

Vallaryie lived in a world where gods are chosen. Chosen for their unique way of thinking and personality. 12 each year were burned in a fire and sent to a sacred island of Narulla where they control the elements and way of being for mortals. Sometimes every 800 years there is a 13th god. One that all fear. Mortal or God they fear the apocalypse.
this year was a year of choosing the new gods. Children of the age 13 are all brought to town center. The blind oracle ,Nonna, marks the children with the ash of eternal flame. The mark of that gods name in the ancient languge. Elliya didn't wan't to be a god she wanted to be a mortal and live a normal life. The children of the village sat in a circle with Nonna in the center. She roamed the inner part of the circle with the pouch of ash. She stepped up to a girl named Quitiya. She said "Life is you Quntiya. You're name is now Aella." She stepped up to a boy named Oliver. She said "Death is you Oliver. You're name is now Zorque." This continued for the next 10 children. But instead of closing the ceremony she walked up to Elliya and said, "You are the Apocalypse child." You're name is now Elliya.
