Hello Everyone! I am bigfoot, and this is my first blog not related to command blocks or redstone. Today I'll be talking to you about "Defining a Successful MinecraftYoutuber."

When you think of the word "Youtuber," you probably hear SkyDoesMinecraft screaming, or see BajanCanadian winning in the Hunger Games. But what specifically defines a YouTuber? They are people who dedicate their time to make videos for their viewers to enjoy (or hate). They put effort into creating quality videos, within any genre, and the majority of them don't "monetize" their videos.

And specifically in the Minecraft community, most "Minecraft" videos are some kid playing survival, or building a house in creative mode. They could be really laggy, or recorded with a camera in front of their monitor. These can get 5 views if their lucky. But a "successful" Youtuber is precieved as the ones that get 100,000 views on EVERY video. This is the common stereotype, and not always true.

I'm an example of a successful(ish) youtuber, but not one that other's precieve as such. I don't get 100,000 views, and I don't have a million subscribers. But I have enough to get 40-50 views per video, and 250+ subscribers (as of writing this blog). I enjoy the feedback (mostly) from my viewers, and I enjoy making the videos. I have fun playing the game that I love, and then I can share them with the world via Youtube. I might not be "Mr. YouTube Moneybags," but I make enough to afford new equipment such as a new microphone, to improve my videos' quality.

In my eyes, a successful Youtuber isn't someone who hits it rich, or has millions of fans. I believe that a successful Youtuber  enjoys what they do, and they get enough feedback to continue to improve.

Nice blog post! This is how I view youtubers! (Although Mitch is one of my favs) As a small youtuber myself I understand your points and even went ahead to check out your channel. You have nice content but you should work on uploading daily, since you are a gaming youtuber and work a little bit more on thumbnails ;) I just played your map Versus Parkour and enjoyed it, so keep up the great work!
