Can I turn cheats off?

Ok, so I started a world and wanted cheats to mess with stuff. I then found that it was a great world and I wanted to play some survival in it. Is there any way to turn cheats off? Also, I have another question. If I turn on LAN network, how far does the signal go? Does the LAN network just allow people on my Wi-Fi on or something else? Ok thank you. But please tell me if I'm wrong, but couldn't I host a LAN server on Hamachi and then people join that network and would that work?

A LAN server is a Local server, only people in your house or on your same network can join.

Also I don't think you can turn cheats off when you choose them to be on in a world, so just play survival without using any commands.
