Chapter 3:A helping hand
I though I was done for when the cougar lunged at my neck.But before it could sink its teeth into my neck something penetrated through the cougar shoulder.The beast lay motionless upon me.I shrugged him off and looked at my surroundings.All survivors except nelson where dead.All these people were my friends' and people i just knew...now they lay motionless near my feet.I turned around and I saw my savior.It was a tall warrior looking women.?:Are you alright? Me:yes I'm fine but who are you?Carla:My name is Carla I live on this island along with my village."Me:well can you take us to your village Nelson and I are the last survivors of a boat wreck and were seeking shelter" Carla: OK...but let me warn you that our village chief doesn't accept stranger with open hands.You must prove your worthy of staying with the tribe"Me : OK lead the way"
Carla: "Chief I have brought these stranger here for they seek shelter" Chief: "If they wish to stay at this village they must prove they can be trusted," Me"what can we do to prove ourselves?" Chief: "Our Village huntsman has gone ill and cannot hunt food for the tribe.I Need you and you friend to go hunt Wild boars.Can I trust you with this task."Me: Yes." Chief :Good now you 2 may rest up in one of our unoccupied houses. Weapons will be provided to the both of you.I will see you tomorrow"
