Chaos Erupts - Chapter 2
Steve still had his instincts. He knew how to make simple tools, and what he didn't know, he found out. At times he had friendly wolves by his side, other times adorable cats. However, Steve has forever been alone. He began to recover his memory, piece by piece. He could remember one other name, besides his own, over time. Herobrine. At one point, he even believed he saw his ghost. Occasionally he found strange, almost unnatural structures in the land. He shook it off as his mind going insane from the loneliness.
One day, his plea for a friend was answered. From the top of a mountain, he saw a very small village on the edge of the eternal fog. He made it his quest to make his way to the village, but there were many monsters in his path. How could he make it? He drew his sword, and took off running towards the monsters. Slashing his way through, he finally made it to the village. He quickly ran inside the closest house and slammed the door.
Inside was a very peculiar creature. Almost human, but not as him and the many humans who once roamed the land. No, these were testificates. A special breed of human, mutated with the evil light wave the Dragon had caused. They lost their ability to speak, and their bodies changed, making them seem almost as animals. But no, they were actually human. They lived in their village in peace, among each other. However, live was hard for them.
During the night time, monsters attacked their village. Many of them had died from invasions, and brutally torn to pieces by the undead. They were defenseless, and unable to help themselves.
Steve left the village alone for now, some day he may return and either loot them and kill them all, or protect them in exchange for some supplies. But that will lie beneath the great sun of a day to come.
Again, Steve thought he saw another human in the fog. With a moment of a glimpse, it looked almost like him, but with pure white eyes. He ran closer, hoping to see what it was, but it was gone long before he reached it. This intrigued Steve, and he decided to pursue who this was.
One day, Steve was wandering through a desert. Off in the distance, he saw something... But what was it? It appeared to be a ring of obsidian, the center glowing with a magnificent swirl. Upon further examination, he found that throwing things into it made them disappear, as if warping to another dimension. Daringly, he took a deep breath and stepped through.
Laying before him was a barren, burning wasteland. Fire was everywhere, burning forever on a strange red stone. It was very brittle, and he was able to crush it quickly. Off in the distance, he heard shrieks and cries of... something. Was it a child? No, it was much too deformed. Out of the fiery mist emerged a massive, crying ghost - The Ghast.
When the dragon sent the evil wave among the land, some skeletons took mount upon spiders. Few of these deadly foes were torn down into the Nether through means unknown. They merged as one, forming an enormous entity which had the legs of the spider - now deformed and unusable - and the ranged ability of a skeleton archer. The new, mutated spirit was very deadly and not a force to recon with.
Also in the Nether roamed the dead pigmen. Pigmen, in the surface world, were evolved swine who gained more ability and intelligence. They were never seen by man, and it has never been discovered where they dwell. Once pulled into the Nether, they became undead, and forged their golden ingots they carried around into swords for protection. Some still carry scraps of gold, or even entire bars.
Since they are smarter than animals, they choose to live in peace, ignoring unnatural visitors to the burning realm. If they are attacked, they will group against those who attempt an assault. They also have built colossal structures in the Nether, with the help of pure fire and molten metal, en-fused with evil life, which are known as the Blaze. They did not make these buildings for protection, but as instinct. They do not live in them. They don't even use them, but their idle hands and minds needed something to spend time on, with their eternal doom to the burning pit of death.
Now, Steve noticed a glowing stone formation on the roof. After some building, and climbing, he reached it. The stone gave of a bright light, and so he named it Glowstone. He brought some back through the portal.

Many years had passed. Once, Steve caught sight of a black, towering man-like form. He almost thought it was human, and walked over to it. It ignored him, and continued to look from area to area, finding good chunks of earth, picking them up, and moving them. He seemed to want to build a house of sorts. The sounds he made were distorted, and almost seemed as though he was sucking sounds waves away from Steve's ears.
As soon as he made eye contact with the beast, it's face opened revealing a frightening jaw. It attacked Steve, injuring him. He finally managed to fight it off, not before discovering it's amazing powers to teleport. Upon being slain, it dropped a small, crystalline sphere.
Suddenly, Steve had a calling. Memories came back of the dragon, of Herobrine, of the portal to the end that they were both torn into. He knew, then and there, to avenge the world. He must enter the End.
