People on PMC and people in general should learn to take constructive criticism or just trolls in general with a better attitude. A few days ago I posted on a certain persons' project (who had at the time put it as 100% and I didn't really mind the info cus it was just like 5 words) and said, "Gonna be honest. It's really small and really bad. Everything is made out of diamond, the walkway is single wide. It basically looks..... bad". I didn't mean it in a rude way and I was about to put another post to correct myself and say no offense and then tell him on how he could make it better and he replied by calling me a troll and eventually reporting me for copyright stuff (all of my projects are original by the way and made entirely by me except for my server which was made by several different people including myself). I was trying to tell him if it is WIP do not put it as 100% complete then he called me names like a little child.

A good way to deal with someone who is insulting your project or something of that manner is in a nice and positive way (so no fights ensue). Something along the lines of "Well that's your opinion and you are entitled to it", or "Yeah I know it looks bad but I am still not done with it", or even just ignore the comment completely. Bottom line is do NOT act like a child and start pissing and moaning to the site mods just because 1 person says it doesn't look very good. Instead LEARN to take criticism on your projects and build them better next time or improve on them in the future.

Just remember that responding in a negative way to someone will always lead to a large fight.

and remember

Don't feed the troll

The thing is, many MC players are unfortunately 12-year olds. At least they act like that. And their initial reaction towards anything they don't like is therefore to start raging. I agree with you, but I doubt this'll change ;) Oh well... I actually don't think that Minecraft is a game for children. Just because it doesn't have sexual or disturbingly violent content doesn't necessarily mean it's aimed for a younger audience. You need a certain level of maturity to fully appreciate Minecraft, I consider it to be a sort of artistic sandbox. And children generally don't understand art too much.

This is so true. That person was just being a jerk, flagging your original creations just because you said his creation wasn't very good.

Just checking that you'd follow your own advice ;)

You raise a good point here, I see it all over the internet but it does seem to affect people more seriously on PMC. I think people get so worked up over MC creations being criticised because they've put a lot of work into it, and so if someone criticises it they reflect that on themselves and take it personally.
