Hello! So i decided that i should do a contest entry for the tutorial contest too! so i spent a few HOURS on making these two pictures that expalins a bit off how i make textures.

Unfornitunatly i have no screenshot program so some have been really hard to expalin in  good way, i guess i should say I used photoshop but it can well be done with gimp!

Please! if you find something hard to read or see, klick the picture to large it and zoom in using ctrl + on windows, and press ctrl - to make it normal again :)

you can take screenshots with snipping tool and also, what about those detailed textures? Like how to do them...for example, dokucraft has a lot of detail in it, so how would you make those tiny details that adds the feel to the block?

How do you change the quality of the texture pack from 16x to something else like 128x on photoshop?
like I start off with the default texture pack which is like 32x or 16x but how do I edit it to be a 64x or 128x?

Its kind of vague at points and only shows how you make textures like you do.  Some of the pictures where you do something is too small.  And I've learned from experience that you should never use the smudge tool. Its too risky.  


Otherwise its a great tutorial! I've learned quite a bit, and it would be great for a first-timer and I'll probably recommend it to friends who are going to start texturing.  Bravo, and a diamond for you.

Ya It wasnt meant to be turned out small but its 16x and if i large it up it will be weirder.. and the smudge tool is good for making textures, but not for skins

They use a bad color and badly done shading. The wood was maybe not that bad but if you take a look at my newer wood i wood say that It's a big difference!
