DanTDM And Friends: A Diamond Christmas


Chapter 1: Experiment X

"Trayaurus, where are you buddy?" Dan called.
"I'm in the testing chamber Dan." Trayaurus replied.

"Trayaurus." Dan sighed, "You keep forgetting that we live in a vast, new lab. It has two chambers. Which one buddy?"

"The inside chamber of course!" Trayaurus snapped. Dan was in the office with Grim; his skeleton dog. He was looking up places on Trayaurus' laptop; he wanted to go on holiday. Dan made his way to the Testing Chamber, he knew Trayaurus had been preparing an experiment. However, Dan wanted to keep a close eye on him, just in case things went wrong; as usual.



"So, Trayaurus... What have you been working on exactly?" Dan asked.


"Well, Dan. I have been working on a new experiment that can do pretty much anything." Trayaurus explained, "I call it Experiment X."


"Oh, so basically, you made a new invention that can do anything?" said Dan.


"Pretty much." Trayaurus replied.


"And why exactly did you call it Experiment X?" Dan questioned.


"Because it can do extraordinary things and it has an infinite mind." Trayaurus said, feeling proud of himself. Dan knew that something bad was going to happen, he could feel it. "Ok, well err, good luck with it, i will see you later Trayaurus." Dan stuttered. Trayaurus looked at him confused and Dan started to walk towards the iron door when Trayaurus said, "Dan, the reason I told you to come here is because I want to test it."


"But then, why do you want me?" Dan asked, feeling worried.


"Because I'm going to test it, " Trayaurus said firmly, "On you!"


"Oh." Dan said under his breath.


"Don't worry, Dan. You'll be fine." Trayaurus grinned.


"I don't like the sound of this," Dan worried, "Remember what happened last time?"


"What?" Trayaurus asked.


"Your invention went wrong and i ended up having horse legs!" Dan exclaimed.


"But this time, I'm sure it will go 100% according to plan." Trayaurus giggled.


"Well, ok, if your sure it will work Trayaurus." Dan sighed.

"It will work Dan, stop worrying!" Trayaurus grinned.



Chapter 2: Infected


"So, what do you want me to do then?" Dan asked.


"Well, it can do anything so i was going to try a couple of simple steps to make sure it is working according to plan." Trayaurus smirked.


"Ok, what are the simple steps then Trayaurus?" Dan said. Trayaurus coughed and started to read the simple steps to Dan.


Trayaurus' Simple Steps:


Step 1: Teleportation


"You will be teleporting to..." Trayaurus paused.


"The Mushroom Biome? Desert Biome? Or Snowy Biome?" Dan gasped, "Or what about back in time to see Lemon Man and the carrot dimension?!" Dan said quickly.


"No..." Trayaurus gave a stern look.


"The Nether." Trayaurus grinned. Before Dan could complain, Trayaurus had turned on the machine and Dan had teleported to The Nether.


"Err... Trayaurus?" Dan stuttered, "Are you there buddy?" Dan heard swords behind him and he could also hear squidgy blocks; he knew they were Magma Cubes. He froze. Slowly, he took a deep breath and turned around, as he did, he noticed he was holding a diamond sword. "Oh great, i have to fight?! Ugh, Trayaurus are you serious?" Dan sighed.



Suddenly, he saw a huge pack of Zombie Pigman, Wither Skeletons and Magma Cubes, and they were all heading straight for him."Oh... If I had to guess, I think I have got to fight...them. If I survive this, I'm going to get revenge on Trayaurus for doing this!" Dan promised himself. Dan was about to leap and strike when all of a sudden he heard a blast, before he could look behind him, he was hit by a giant ball of fire. He was knocked to the ground. It was a Ghast and it was about to strike again. Dan was unable to move, his clothes were on fire and the Nether mobs were getting closer. Suddenly, without warning, there was a massive puff of purple nether dust around Dan and he disappeared from The Nether.



His eyes were blurry so he didn't know where he was or what had just happened. "Dan?" A voice called, "Dan, are you ok?" His eyes focused and he could see it was none other that Trayaurus. He was back in the lab. "Trayaurus! I almost got killed!" Dan shouted.


"Yeah, err. About that..." Trayaurus stopped.


"Trayaurus, what did you do?" Dan asked, he had a pretty good feeling that Trayaurus' invention had had some technical difficulties. "Im sorry Dan, you see, Experiment X has a very secret ingredient inside it." Trayaurus explained, "It is it's energy source."


"What is?" Dan asked.


"Experiment X runs on..." He sighed.


"Well?" Dan said.


"Rotten Flesh." Trayaurus continued, "It was the only thing that was able to make Experiment X do anything, it extended its possibilities Dan!"


"Yeah, but Trayaurus. I don't understand why it malfunctioned." Dan questioned.


"Because, i did some research on the same flesh that I used and-" Trayaurus paused.


"And what Trayaurus?" Dan said.


"And, it was infected." Trayaurus barked.


Dan laughed, "But Trayaurus, Rotten Flesh is infected anyway, its a Zombie's heart basically."


"Yeah, but this one was infected with really bad evilness." Trayaurus explained, "Which means it could override Experiment X's system."


"Well, shut it down then, before it causes anymore problems." Dan shouted.


"That's the problem Dan," Trayaurus cried, "I can't!"


Dan gulped with fear. If they didn't shut it down soon, then there would be very bad consequences for both Trayaurus and Dan.



Chapter 3: Consequences


"Trayaurus, you know we need to fix this. And fast!" Dan panicked.


"But, Dan-" Trayaurus whined.


"No buts, Trayaurus. Your responsible so you must fix it!" Dan interrupted, "If you don't, I will ban you from playing Star Wars on your Xbox." Dan said.


"I don't care!" Trayaurus sulked.


"Ok then, you will be banned from all of the cookie jars and you will never see Pauline The Cookie again!" Dan shouted.


"Ugh... Fine!" Trayaurus moaned, "But, im only doing it for Pauline as she is my greatest treat." Trayaurus started to go into Dreamland.


"Ok Trayaurus, no need to get all lovey dovey over Pauline." Dan teased.


"DAN! Pauline is a cookie, I'm a villager. There is no further relationship between me and Pauline other than friends!" Trayaurus raged, "You got that?!"


"Oh, ok. No need to get angry, after all we wouldn't want to let Pauline see would we?" Dan laughed. Trayaurus ignored Dan, he couldn't believe Dan was talking about him and Pauline again, however, what Dan didn't know is that Trayaurus really did have a secret crush for Pauline The Cookie.



Dan decided to go fetch Grim, he knew he would need some extra help, especially the fact that Trayaurus was sulking and he refused to fix his own mess as usual. Grim was an excellent defender against evil mobs. "Ok Trayaurus, are you ready for another adventure?" Dan shouted.


"I Guess..." Trayaurus sighed.


"Oh come on Trayaurus, it won't be that bad." Dan smiled. Dan packed a rope, axe, pickaxe and a diamond sword for Trayaurus and himself; just in case. "Trayaurus, im trusting you right now to lead the way, your the only person that knows where exactly we need to go." Dan exclaimed.


"Fine. Follow me." Trayaurus said. Trayaurus had a plan to put them off track for a little while, however, Dan didn't know what Trayaurus had planned up his sleeve. "So, Trayaurus, where exactly are we going?" Dan asked.


"You'll see." Trayaurus smirked.


"Well, ok Trayaurus, but it better not be long. It'll be getting dark soon so we'll need to set up camp before the zombies and that come out." Dan whispered.


"Here we are Dan." Trayaurus smiled.


"Trayaurus! This isn't the place!" Dan shouted.


"How do you know, Dan? It could be." Trayaurus grinned.


"I just know it's not. Why did you bring us here?" Dan questioned, he knew Trayaurus was trying to send him off course so that he wouldn't have to fix anything. Trayaurus had brought him to the Grassland biome where an old friend lived; Whiney Tree.


"Trayaurus, look! Now you've disturbed Whiney Tree!" Dan explained, "I'm so sorry Whiney Tree, Trayaurus was meant to be taking us to some place where we can fix the experiment that Trayaurus created."


"We'll be moving on now Winey Tree, sorry for disturbing you." Dan whispered. As Dan and Trayaurus started to move on to the next biome, Whiney Tree started to fall asleep again without any disturbances.



Chapter 3: The journey of 1000 steps


"Trayaurus, I can't believe you did this. From now on, I'm leading." Dan said.


"But Dan, you don't know where we're even meant to be going!" Trayaurus shouted.


"Well, luckily for me, Trayaurus I did some research." Dan grinned, "And found out exactly where we are meant to be going."


"But for now, we are going to set up camp for the night as the zombies will be coming out soon." Dan said, "So help me set up Trayaurus, you don't want to be staying out in the pitch black night to be eaten by zombies, do you?"


"No way, you wouldn't let that happen to me Dan, would you?" Trayaurus stuttered.


"Of course not Trayaurus. But I'll have no choice if you don't set up your tent." Dan smirked. Dan knew that Trayaurus was afraid of the dark, that way Trayaurus would set up his tent by himself.



As they set up their tents for the night, Trayaurus shouted, "Dan, watch out!" Suddenly, Dan was grabbed by a wet, slimy, green hand. "Zombies!" Trayaurus screamed.


Dan sighed, "Ugh... Trayaurus, your such a scaredy cat, are you going to help me or not?"


Trayaurus gulped, "No..." He ran for his tent and closed the safety gate behind him. Zombies are attracted to villagers, I had to save him. Or, did I need to save myself. Trayaurus wasn't being very helpful so I had to be brave. Dan remembered the Diamond Sword that I had in The Nether. It was still there! He managed to free his hand. He swung his cool diamond sword at the zombie and it fell to the ragged grass floor. "One down... Twenty seven more to go..." Dan said. He thought that if he ran now he would be able to reach his tent in time. He dashed to his tent, he could hear the zombies around him closing in on him. He dived into his sleeping bag and slammed the safety gate behind him. Safe. "Goodnight Trayaurus!" Dan shouted over the loud noises of hungry, flesh - eating, drooling zombies. Trayaurus stuttered with fear, "Goo- Good- Goodnight- Da- Dan."
