i remember seeing the Yogscast do a video on a Left 4 Dead mod for Minecraft, which is kinda what you want. But yeah, if there were a way to fully encapsulate DayZ in minecraft that would be lots of fun too...

Not playing DayZ / Arma 2, but i've seen CaptainSparklez and SeaNanners play together on it.

I +1 this idea, Not that I can make this mod because first of all I dont even know how to download a mod (I have single player commands if that counts) second is that I suck at coding, third, im still learning to use redstone.
