When you find me, whoever you may be, I shall probably be a single skull upon the new cold hard and wet bed. If you find me soon, I shall smell like the creatures that haunt the night, but if you find me late, then I may be dust; blowing in the wind and dancing in the water. That is if I do not become a creature of the night first. Whoever you may be, I wish for you to stay safe and do not end up with this same fate that I have encountered and probably deserve. Above where you find my torn clothes and rotten body, there shall be a bridge. Unless repaired, it will be broken from the many mobs that cross it each night and the weight of me and my gear.

If you could find my things, save yourself if you too are trapped down in this hole. I would find them myself but I feel my blood leak and spread across the ground and soak into the few grass bundles that grow down here. I do not wish for you to die, and I hope you take my things without hesitation. I do not need them myself. I could tell you many things like how to survive your first night, but I assume you could read a book in my libary about how to do that. I doubt you have not read it yet, anyway.

Speaking of my Libary, I have a house of kings, with chests spewing gold and iron ingots out of their greedy mouths. It's location is ~south-west from here. You can see it from Kingsborough, ~3,000 blocks east from it. There is a road from the bridge above to Pritchard Square. From there, go towards the sunrise until you can see 3 mountains with snow blankets at their peaks. When you get there, turn right and you shall see two blue banners near each other. This marks Kingsborough's edge of territory. Go towards that then follow the cobble road. When you get to Kingborough, you shall see the majestic building on a hill.

I have maps of the interior from when I first began to design the house. I made it for my wife, but she died of childbirth. My son shall be there at the house. Tell him "Every one must one day die," and he will know you have found me. Anyway, I wasn't the best drawer back then, but it got me through.

It has a pool as you can see on the right, inside the gates. If you follow the hallway up to the kitchen, which is on the right then go down to the window and pull one of the books on the bookshelf. It may be classic but the undead have no idea. Go down the passage that opened and you shall find where I store my materials. You can take what you need, and say that I let you to my son, as a reward for corpse. All of this, of course, is if I am found soon enough so that my son is still alive and I am still in his mind, and the house still stands. If you go far enough in there, you shall find my farm, the most effective one in all of the King's Empire. When you find me, my technology of farming may be like a stick to you, but maybe, if you are struggling with your agriculture, this may be of help.

First, you should try and get flat land, not that it helps, but it is easier to move around on the farm and your crops have a lower chance of being washed away if there was a flood. Speaking of flood, you should try and get fairly high land, away from the sea, and not surrounded by mountains or hills. If you cannot get any of these things, then you can always terra-form to suit your needs. I have small ditches between each field for water to run down. Fertile land is best to choose, like near volcanos, but that would be a big gamble since they could shoot burning liquid down at you anyday.

Next, it is important you have a water source. My farm is supplied by a spring from a nearby marsh. However, my farm does not go near the marsh as it produces crops not as big and tasty as they could be. If marsh wheat was used for bread, it would look like a puddle of soggy dough! Never use stale water, keep it flowing all the time. The water from the spring is brought here to my farm then instantly sent flowing down the ditches in the soil. If it is raining, I have hatches that I close to stop the crops from drowning. When closed, the water that normally goes to the farm goes to a small production centre I own, where it is put into buckets then sent into town on the back of oxen to be sold. It's called "Steve's Spring Water". To make no water wasted, when it get's to the bottem of the fields, if there is any left, I send it to the animals.

Before you plant you crops, you should send an ox with a plow. This tills the land quickly and removes any rocks or pebbles that might disrupt the crops' growth. You could do this by hand but that would be time consuming and require alot of energy. Also, with livestock, send them to the fields which you've used less than 4 years ago to keep the grass short. This is a part of a field rotation. When you harvest crops from 1 field, the roots of some crops are still there, so crops don't grow as well there as they would in a new field. The space between each water ditch should be 8 metres, so the fields should be 8 metres wide each. You can make it as long as you want, but your water may run out at the bottom if it's too big. For the field rotation, you could have a minimum of 4 fields, but the more the better!

You need to fence off the area to stop any wild animals from entering this beautiful farm of yours. They could easily kill crops by stepping on them. Make sure to light it up too. This may attract wild animals during night, but you should have a fence so it will be fine. Also, it will stop the undead from destroying crops too. If you do pumpkins or melons, it is important you have a cirtain layout. The unchecked boxes on the following grid is where farmland is. Where there is a tick, you should plant a seed.

You can repeat this down as many times as you want. You can also make this longer or shorter and can rotate this any direction.

Other crops are alot simpler and you just fill it all in, unless you wish to add shapes into your farm, however that is less efficient.

When all the crops are ready, unless pumpkins and watermelons, send an ox to harvest it again. You could once again do it by hand but that would take time and energy. One way that is incredibly modern, at least now, is a water technique. When all the crops are ready, release water to wash them down to the harvest point where you can filter the crops with the water by putting them through things known as "hoppers". The crops would go in and the water would go straight over it. You may need to close any ditches if they open. I suggest putting path above them. This stops water from going down there, and makes a path for you.

That is all. I thank you for the recovery of my body and your time to read the final thing I have done in this life of mine. The amount of things I have killed in this journey from birth to death in a hole is insane, and I truly deserve it. I hope you do not have a similar fate as I, and I hope you adopt these survival skills. May you grow 'till you have enough food for not only yourself but the world.
