In this tutorial i will show you how to use groupmanager.
there are 5 groups automatically generated and inherited when you install groupmanager
Owner, Admin, Moderator, Builder and Default
here are the commands
/manselect (worldname) selects a world to add permissions in (world inheritance can be customized in the config.yml)
/mangadd (group) creates a group.
/mangaddp (group) (permission node) adds a permission node. Permissions can be found on the bukkit page of the plugin
/mangaddv (group) prefix/suffix (prefix/suffix) adds a prefix/suffix to a group
/mangaddi (group getting perms) (group giving perms) lets group 1 get all of group 2's permission nodes
/manuadd (user) (group) promote/demote's someone to another group
/manpromote (user) (group) promotes someone to a higher group
/mandemote (user) (group) demotes someone to a lower group
/manuaddp (user) (permission node) adds a permission directly to a player
/manuaddv (user) prefix/suffix (prefix/suffix) adds a prefix/suffix directly to a player
If you have EssenitalsChat installed (generates when you install Essentials)
go to essentials config.yml and find EssentialsChat surrounded in #'s
look for group-formats, you can add group's prefix in there which is more efficient because
it wont show up in /msg /tpa /list or the welcome msg but still in chat and you can add spaces in prefixes there
it is case sensitive so here is an example
Owner: '&6[&bOwner&6]&f{DISPLAYNAME}&9 >>&e {MESSAGE}'
{DISPLAYNAME} represents their username, the {MESSAGE} obviously represents what they say
the prefix and >> and anything else that is not in {}'s will just show up anyway
if you're using Factions DO NOT enable faction prefix overwise EssentialsChat wont work! Unless you wont use
EssentialsChat, you can go copy the factions format code in it's config and paste into EssentialsChat
Owner: '(here)&6[&bOwner&6]
Thanks guys hope you liked this oh also if you have double prefixes just simply do /manudelv or /mangdelv to the group :)
