The first noise you would normally hear in the Nether: that scream. That depressed, screech of pain and terror. Like every single player, you look up and around till you spot it. The floating ghost like creature that glares at you with the tear filled eyes... First reaction is normally you would step back and make a hole in the netherrack below your feet. Then you take out your bow and fire. You hear the Ghast's last cries and it's gone.

You never really thought about a Ghast have you? Never really stood there and looked into those depressed eyes (Not sure anyone would do that. Don't want to get your backside blown off by fireballs). You never listened to its cries properly did you? You probably just heard a Ghast and ran. Do you know what a Ghast really is? It's a lost soul banished to the Nether. You would think when you just read the word "Soul" that souls would be trapped in soul sand wouldn't they? No. Not all of them. Ghasts are the mistaken players that are banished to the Nether but never really did anything wrong. Did you not ever wonder why they were crying? Why that when you kill it, it drops its final tear?

Long ago when the Nether was first born, there lived a player. This player was called Admin. Admin was a kind player who helped others when they were in need of assistance or were just needing a friend. Admin made the land of Minecraftia a better place for all! Until one day, a new guy came along: Griefer. Griefer destroyed houses and destroyed the land. More and more of these players turned up and Admin couldn't keep up! There was only one of him and many of them! Admin used his powers and banished all Griefers to the Nether, where their souls were trapped within the sands of Hell. But something went wrong. Admin's powers got out of hand. Innocent players were taken from their homes and families and banished to the Nether by accident. These players were not meant to be here and an error was created in the system. New creatures were born into the Nether: The Ghast. But they weren't creatures. They were but players. Innocent players who did nothing wrong and now they were trapped beneath their home lands in Hell.

Now when players today enter the Nether and the players see them, due to their sheer anger of these deceptive players, they will shoot any player with the burning of their heart that get in their way.

So, next time you kill a Ghast, think twice.

(Non of this was true I just wanted to make up a story. I just disappointed you :D)
