Lately, people have been wondering about the new "Bug Fix" in Minecraft 1.3.1. At the bottom of the new updates it says "Removed Herobrine", and people have been wondering about it. Well, don't. I've done some research and here's what I've found.

We have no real proof that Herobrine ever existed. Accounts of him exist here or there, but never a screen shot or video with him actually there. People have seen trees that grow with half the leaves gone on one side, and say Herobrine did it. Think of all the weird things Minecraft worlds have rendered. Is it really that unusual for a tree to have that?

According to Minecraft Wiki, Herobrine is Notch's dead brother, and cannot exist because Notch doesn't have a dead brother. Others say that he is a "virus" that trolls the game and forums. Also false. Mojang denies any existence of Herobrine ever existing. I know people will say "They're just hiding it", but seriously, if you had something like that in minecraft, why would you hide it. I think it'd be cool if Herobrine was actually real, so why hide it?

So there you have it. Herobrine does not, and never will exist. That update log was a troll from Mojang, trying to get reactions that you have had as of now. If you feel I'm wrong, post a comment, but make sure you have some solid evidence of your debate.
