It was a while ago, but WHATEVER!So, I just got a new computer (a MacBook Pro, and I don't care if you guys say Macs or Apple sucks, because they are awesome) for my birthday. That was a exactly a year ago from the post of this blog. I was really crazy about it, but I didn't know about any apps that would make my life on my new Mac fun. So, I Google searched.
What popped up were YouTube videos, and I checked them out. They showed many, MANY videos about "What is in my dock." That is when i stubbled upon a video (that I don't remember anymore) that showed "Minecraft." The person talked about the game, and his house in a cave (he didn't go outside at all). I clicked the link in the description, and it brought me to MediaFire, which at the time i didn't know that the downloads aren't necessarily official there. They could be pirated or something.
So the alpha version I had was fake, and I had it for 2 months. When I found that out, I felt bad, and well then bought Minecraft. BUT, during my first few weeks of playing Minecraft, i had no clue what to do. All i did was explore, and when night came, I saw a p--- er WALKING CACTUS THAT BLOWS UP! I freaked out and deleted the world. Then I tried another new world. This time I found out that I can destroy dirt, so I made a 20 x 20 house (no roof). Fail, I died from zombies right away.
After all those incidents, I decide the game was no fun. That didn't matter because I got bored fast later on. So I Youtube searched how to survive your first days in Minecraft. I found out how to, and very soon I was playing Minecraft (but on peaceful). After THAT I found out that "peaceful" means that no hostile mobs will spawn. I thought it was when hardly any monsters would spawn. What a fail on my part.
During those few months I also got into texture packs, updates (and yes I was able to update with a cracked version), and mods. I fooled around with them, until I deleted my worlds. Then I stopped.
When I thought the fun was over, I found out that I was using a cracked version and i went, "OH NO YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING!" So, I quickly bought the game, made a server, fooled around trying all the new features, went on other servers, and had more fun!
Today, I continue to play Minecraft, run a server, and learn different computer languages (different types of coding languages).
What a story! Did YOU have any fails like me :P
