Sup guys, Here's a simple way to always get a Sharpness V (Sharpness 5). Now, most people think that obtaining a Sharpness V is impossible since the MinecraftWiki says that it can only get obtained by enchanting a sword from either level 65-85. This is quite impossible considering the max that anything can be enchanted is 50. This brings me to my next point. If you think that enchanting at level 50 will guarantee you a Sharpness V, think again. Level 50 enchants are known to be some of the most awful enchants or some of the ones that are not useful in things such as PvP. Your best bet in getting either a Sharpness V swords or a very good sword that is useful in PvP is by getting it where you see the level 49 enchant pop up twice in the enchanting table and then the 3rd time you see 49 pop up, click it. This seems to have worked very well for me several times.

since of 1.4 there is now a new way...... just get 2 swords with sharpness craft a anvil and in the anvil repair both swords and if you have lower tan sharpness v just do /gamemode c and get your sword (if you want to cheat) or just craft another diamond sword and get sharpness and repair again :):);):):)

This still works guys. Just instead of going to 49, go to 29 and then repeat the process.
