HOW TO CREATE ONE GREAT QUEST/ADVENTURE MAP
Easy ways to do if you want to create one great adventure/quest map.

1- CREATE
Start creating one normal world to the adventure.
Dont create with flatland, isnt very nice creating the map to the quests/adventures using flatland.
Or you can put the trees montains and caves useing only your mouse.

2- GENERATE
Try to load all the place you want to create the place for the city/quests/dungeons, etc.
Or it will be a bit laggy for you.

3- CONSTRUCTING THE BUILDINGS
QUEST: Try to make one city in one flat (not very flat) place, 1º the road, 2º the houses, 3º the shops/storages/living places, 4º the principal house of the city, 5º the quest houses.
ADVENTURE: Try to make some houses with dungeons to win special items, place hidden chests around the dungeon/house with good items (diamond items or iron).
One example is creeper Quest map.

4- MAKING THE TUTORIAL AND THE STORY
Now make the "signs" place to the story and the quests, try to put some orders to the player too(dig down! Follow the bedrock's way! See the rules!)

5- DONT MAKE THE MAP FOR "PRO'S" PEOPLE
When you are making the quests, try to make easy quests going to hard quests (deliver one wood >>> deliver one coal >>> deliver one diamond)

6- MAKE DIFFERENT QUESTS/ADVENTURES
Make another types of quests/adventures (kill, parkour, puzzle, escape, run, etc) around the map.

7- MAKE THE SPAWN HOUSE AFTER MAKING ALL THE MAP
Make one spawn house and put one bed, sleep in the bed to make one spawn (do this on the final, because its better in the final than the start. e.g.: shit! the house is too longer of the city!)

8- TO THE FINAL, MAKE THE "RULES WALL"
make one "rules place" in the spawn house(give starting items too)

TIPS FOR YOU!
REDSTONE!: make redstone quests.
REDSTONE2!: make redstone shops
NICE ITEMS!: place one chest with nice items (swords and bows/armor) in the final of the quests/when the player end that quest
PEACEFUL!: when you are creating the map, play on peaceful, so some mobs dont spawn in your front when you are building
TEST IT!: do not test the map in the real world save, create one copy of it and test it
DECORE: decore very much the cenary!
UPDATE!: when you upload the map on pmc/minecraftforums, try to update it every month, but work hard!!!
