Hey, today I'm making a tutorial on how to upload your skin to PMC and create and shade your own skin.No this isn't the best method for the shading part but it's a very quick and simple method to do and nearly everyone should be able to do it. Sorry I couldn't post more images, it glitched and only allowed one D:.Creating, shading and uploading works on all versions.

If you want to use your skin that you created then go to the To Change Your Skin to the One You Just Uploaded section towards the bottom of the page.
Anyways let's get into it.

Downloading SkinEdit Alpha 3 pre 7
Firstly, you need to download SkinEdit Alpha 3 pre 7 here, if you don't have it downloaded already. Here is the link, copy paste it into your browser, the download link is on the webpage:

Creating Your Skin
Once you have it downloaded it, open the SkinEdit Alpha 3 pre 7folder and double click the MCSkinEdit.jar jar file and it should open up into a small window. Here you can create whatever skin you like, or you can edit or open old skins that you have created earlier. Remember to click File then Save often. Now you have created a skin!

To Edit or Open a Skin You Already Created
Click File on the small toolbar then click Load and choose your skin wherever it is on your computer. NOTE: You must have downloaded the skin as a .png. It should load it up, if you have trouble please PM me or use Youtube.com or another website to help.

To Download Your Skin
If you want to download a skin you just made or you already had created click File, Save As and then save it wherever you want.

To Shade a Skin
First, you must have your skin loaded up onto the SkinEdit Alpha 3 pre 7 window. Then click Edit then click Add Noise and select the force of the shade you want. NOTE: You can always click Edit then Undo to undo what you did if you don't like it or you want to change the noise.

To Upload Your Skin to Planet Minecraft
First download it by going up to the To Download Your Skin part of my tutorial and download your skin. Now log onto Planet Minecraft or create an account. Then click Skins, then click Post Your Skin! Post Your Skin will be right under the skins pop reel. Then add a title to your skin and choose its Category and Gender, depending on what your skin is.

Then click Upload File and click Choose File. Find your downloaded skin, depending on where you downloaded it to. Double click your skin. Then click Save - NOTE: You MUST click the Save that is the in the rectangle that popped up when you clicked Upload File NOT the one at the top right. Make a description of your skin. Then click the Save button at the top right of the webpage. Now your skin has been uploaded onto PMC, after a couple of seconds it will show up on the Skins list for recently updated.

To Change Your Skin to the One You Just Uploaded
Now to change your skin to the skin you just uploaded click on your name and the skin page should come up, click it then click Change My Skin and it'll take you to Minecraft.net and you need to put in your minecraft username and password then it'll come up with the skin and click Change and it will change. Have Minecraft closed when you do it.

NOTE: NEVER, EVER recreate or edit someoneelse's skin. Always start with a blank template or a Steve template. If you recreate or edit another person's skin you are breaking Planet Minecraft's Number 1 Rule.
