First of all, I would like to say hello ;) This tutorial is about how to downgrade minecraft 1.3.1 to 1.2.5, if you would like to play on a server before it has updated to 1.3.1. This will also work with any update. This is for Windows 7 only.
The first thing you do is, open up your library (at bottom of your screen)
At the top --where it says "Library"-- click. It will highlight "Library" replace that with %AppData% and hit enter
click on ".minecraft"
Right click on bin, only bin.
click "restore to previous version" at the bottom
Then click on the top update and click "restore" NOT click OK
After it is done loading, close the screen and enjoy!
