Making a Minecraft 1.5.2 Bukkit Server

Get Embed Code

Level 30 : Artisan Geek

  1. Go to http://dl.bukkit.org/
  2. Pick the version minecraft is on
  3. Save it to your desktop


  1. Go to your desktop and right-click
  2. Select "New Folder" then name it "Server"
  3. Drag the -----.jar into the folder
  4. Then go and open a notepad and enter:


  1. Then go to "File" "Save as" then this is the format for saving


  1. Then drag the run.bat into your server folder on your desktop
  2. In your folder rename the ---.jar to bukkit.jar
  3. Then double click the run.bat and your server should be running if you have it port-forwarded and working correctly!

Worked. Although as a shortcut you could create a text document (.txt) and change the file extension to (.bat) instead of opening and saving, cause that's what windows does anyways.
