I already did this in projects, i just had to re-do it because i don't know how to convert it.

Step 1
Place a fence block on the ground in front of you.

Step 2
Place a fence block on top of the other fence block you just put down.

================================================
Step 3
Place a 3rd fence block on top of the second fence block.

Place signs all around the top fence to add good depth.
I prefer not to put any words on the signs, but that is up to you. For instance, if you are making a build with these, you could put "Made By: (name) on all sides. But as i said, that is up to you.

Step 4
Place a glowstone block on top of the third fence block for the lighting you need in the lamp.

Stage 5
Place trapdoor blocks on all sides of the glowstone so they are closed. This is a good way to add depth

Stage 6 (final)
Place a stone slab on top of the glowstone block for better detail for your lamp post. After completing this step, your done!
