Hello guys it's Sabo here with a quick tutorial on how to make a Texture pack!
This is very easy to acomplish so lets get started :D
THINGS YOU WILL NEED:
- Winrar or 7zip
- Active pixels photo editor
- minecraft.jar
STEP 1:
Access your Minecraft.jar by typing %appdata% into Run. On a Mac, go to Finder and then click on library-application support-minecraft.
STEP 2:
Exract your minecraft.jar and make a new folder called: "Texture pack"
STEP 3:
Find all of the files you want to edit like: Terrain.png, Pack.png, Etc.
STEP 4:
Drag all of the files you wish to edit into the "Texture Pack" folder you created
STEP 5:
Now time to start editing! Open Active Pixel photo editor and on the upper left, click on the "File" icon
STEP 6:
Click "Open" and find the "Terrain.png" and open it
STEP 7:
Now just edit it. Once you are done, close Active Pixel Photo editor and highlight all the stuff in the "Texture Pack" folder you created. compress it all to a .zip folder and YOU ARE DONE!
THERE ARE TUTORIALS THAT COVER HOW TO CHANGE THE MOJANG LOGO, BACKGROUND, ITEMS, ETC. THIS WAS JUST A TUTORIAL ON HOW TO MAKE A SIMPLE TP.
