How to make a TexturePack [BASICS]

Download That Texture Pack Above.
Optional Below
And Paint.Net [optional use to customize blocks and more]
Notepad++ [to change item and mob names in code]

Step #2
Put The Default Texture Pack in your Minecraft "Resource Packs" folder.

Time To Start Giving Basics.

How to add a image/icon to Texture Pack.
Find or make a image then save it as a PNG file.
Then rename it "pack".
Drag image to the Texture Pack Folder.

How to add a description.
There should be a file of notepad++ called "pack" aswell open it.
Within the "pack" see the description?
It has this shown:("description": "Put description Here")
Within The Area I Underlined and Bolded you have to change that.

How to change Item/Mob Textures.
To change the Items/Mobs all you need is a program where you can open textures.[Example:Paint.net]
Pick a texture you want to change.
Then Right click→Open with Paint.net.
Now you can edit whatever you want Change: Colors, Textures, Anything.


How to change Item/Mob names.
Open the texture pack goto →assets→minecraft→lang→en_US [open "en_US"]
You change the names within this. [Example: "menu.singleplayer=Singleplayer"]
Change the "=Singleplayer" to "=MyWorlds". Save.
Now when you go back to Menu it will be named "Myworlds"

How to change GUI Transparent.
To Change Go To ResourcePack→Assets→Minecraft→Textures→GUI.
Open Whatever you want to change.
Then Get out the "Magic Wand Tool"[You may want to change the Power of tool called "Tolerence"]
And click the area you want "Transparent".
Press Del [Delete] Button. Save.
Now when you goto Whatever you changed its see through.

How to change names of items text color.
Open the Resource/Texture Pack, Goto→Assets→Minecraft→Lang→EN_US.
Open "EN_US" with Notepad++.
Click "Find" at top bar.[looks like binoculars]
Once at "Find" click on "Replace" Then do this.
Find What: =      
Replace With: =§b
Then click "Replace All"
This will turn it all to Blue Text.
This is a Color Code: §.
