This tutorial is desinged to inform you what and how to make an "Eden" world in minecraft. An Eden world is a world where you run buisnesses. To make one you can use any world type (Superflat is not reccomended) and go into some form of multiplayer (3-6 peope work best). At the start give each player 6 gold nuggets (or any other currancy you want to use. I reccoment gold nuggets though). Then each player has to race to complete an HQ. An HQ is the place where you make and buy items. A proper HQ must have a fenced off aera ( this could be dirt blocks, a wood fence, a diamond block skyscraper or anything else as long as it can fit you and 3 other things in it. A HQ must have 1 chest, 1 furnace and 1 crafting table.Once you have made an HQ building it is time to start patenting items! To patent jobs and items you must get some of that resource and put it in your chest, congragulations! Nobody else is allowed to produce, get or sell that item! So if you have a proper HQ and 1 log in your chest you are now own the lumber buisness! Now it is time to start selling. If any players come to your HQ and they want lumber, you must negotiate a fair price in your currency. Once you have negotiated a price they will give you the amount of money that you agreed on and you will give them the amount of lumber they paid for. Now that the first trade has been made the "base price" for all other items has been set. To make things easier put up signs on the front telling what the HQ supplies and signs inside telling the price of each item. Now you are starting to get hungry and you didn't patent the farming buisness. Now if no one has patented the farming buisness go to the butcher but if there is no butcher then its time to make a new HQ and patent a food buisness! But if there is someone who has patented a food buisness go to them. Since you have already made the base price they should have a price already, if not negotiate the price. Give them the price you negotiated and they will give you the food. It is 5 minecraft days later, you ran out of supplies and you have been chopping wood for the past 5 days. You will probably notice that your gold nuggets have gone down or up. Either way it is time to start thinking about a new buisness. Nobody has patented mining yet and you enjoy it. Time to get another HQ ready! Once you have another HQ and some cobble you have patented mining! You have lots of cobblestone and wood now. You are in the cave and suddenly you see it. GOLD ORE!! Whenever someone finds gold in normal minecraft its like, "I found gold". In Eden this is finding gold "OMG I FOUND GOLD!!!!!! MORE CURRENCY FOR EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". When you find gold quickly take it to your mining HQ and turn it into gold nuggets and distrubute it equaly to everyone. It has been 10 minecraft days since you found gold. You have found nothig but cobble and nobody needs lumber you are starting to lose money. One thing you never want to do in Eden is go bankrupt. If you are starting to go bankrupt go and work for somebody. They will hire you to fish or farm for a day and at the end of a day if you do a good job they will collect the loot you got and they will pay you with currency. Congragulations! You are no longer going bankrupt! It has been 20 minecraft days. You have more new buisnesses and you have the most money in the game. People are working for you and you have vast amounts of resources. But you start to slack off and not buy or sell anything and walk around doing nothing. People desperatly need lumber and cobble but you have nott gone mining or chopping in 10 minecarft days. If you are not producing your resources people can take your buisnesses for themselves. Somebody takes one of your buisnesses, smelter. It has been 10 minecraft days since one of your jobs was taken and you are now working harder than ever. But with 5 buisnesses to keep track of you are getting stressed and not having enough time to see that theater production in the birch forest. You decide to sell your digging buisness. As you can see the possibilities with an Eden world are endless. There are two main modes. Thefirst mode is the endless mode when you keep on playing Eden forever on the same world. The second mode is the monopoly mode where the goal is for all other players to go bankrupt. Have fun playing an Eden world!
