ok this will show you how to make babies and taming. chicken you throw an egg, you have to get lucky 50% chance. cows you just give them wheat and there must be 2!!. mooshroom cows you have to give them wheat as the same thing as cow. if you give a cow and a mooshroom cow a wheat, they have a 50 chance of cows or mooshroom. rarely spawning for mycelium. all animals give them wheat. exept squid and npc. you cant breed squid thought. villagers you have to give them nothing. you just wait and you will see tons of kids running. mobs cant have babies. it is rare for ocelots to have babies but cats you give them raw fish like when you tame ocelot. give your wolf any meat exept fish. can be raw or cooked. tame them by bones. iron golems and snow golems cant breed. maybe enderdragon in the next update.

The population of a village stops when all houses are occupied.
So if you have a 8 house village with all houses occupied... they'll never have babies no matter how long you wait (unless they are replacing a villager who died?).
So check what they consider habitable, build houses for them and they'll start having kids to fill 'em.
