So, You Want A Server To Call Your Own?

You've Come To The Right Place.

First off, you'll need a few files, Which Can Be Obtained Here:

IF YOU CAN'T PORTFOWARD ASLO DOWNLOAD THIS:

(Make an account downlaod this, i'll explain what todo at the bottom of this tutorial.)

Ok so once the everything is downloaded go ahead and take the winarar archive you downloaded and extract either the file 64-bit or 32-bit. extract 64 bit if your computer is 64 bit and 32 bit if its 32 bit. Once you have the files extracted into your Server folder, goto the server folder and double click "Start.bat" and run it. when it says Done close the cmd prompt.
Your Server Is Now Fully Operational!

But Wait! Your Not an Op! You want pvp! The Nether Won't Work!
Well Theres A Few Things That Need To Be Done Now Before You Put Your Server Online!
One of the files "Start.bat" generated is called "ops". Go into this text document and add your name (Its Case Sensitive) NOTE: only put 1 name in the "ops" or it won't read it. to op another player, type in server chat /op MyFirendsName
Now, open the files called "server" and you should see a body of text like this:

All These are Options For Your Server! Either type "true" or "false" for the option.

But Wait! That Other guys server has factions and mine doesn't!
Let me explain this in a simple form. There are "mods" for servers called "Plugins" these "Plugins" are ways to change gameplay in Multiplayer. Some Popular plugins are: Mcmmo, NoCheat, Essentials, Factions

Essentials gives you commands such as /spawn /sethome /give honeydew 46 1. and NoCheat is a way to stop hackers in their tracks!

How to install Plugins:
Goto your Server folder, click the file "plugins" and dump the plugin you downloaded into it. ts really that simple!

Me Myself, have no idea how to port forward, thats why i use Hamachi! hamachi is basically a way to put your server "Live" on the intrawebz.

Once you downloaded hamachi, go ahead and run it and click "Create New Network" name it whatever you want and set the password to whatever you want. You see the numbers across the top of hamachi that look something like"000.000.000.000:??????" or "000.000.000.000"? well Those Numbers Are Your Servers IP address! go ahead and copy the first 4 parts of it(ex. mine is 35.7.160.2) and go into the "sever" folder and click the "server" text document. where it says "server-ip" put the 4 sets of numbers (perios and all) for it. Example: Mine is "server-ip=35.7.160.2"

Now That That Is All Done, Go Ahead And Go Back To The Main "Server" Folder And Click "Start.bat"
This Will Start Your Server, To Stop It type in the cmd prompt "stop". and there you go! Your server is up on the intrawebz!

But Wait!(Last Step I Promise) Now In order for someone to get on your server they must join the hamachi network you created. So give them the network name and password, once there in it they can take the IP address and login to the server!
