Welcome to minecraft you need to start by punching wood NEVER dig straight down or you can fall into cave,lava,mob spawners,ECT. you goal is to not die and do what ever you like first start by making a crafting table put 4 wood in your little grid in your invetory use W,A,S,D to move [space] to jump and E for invetory, after geting tools make sure to build a house to make a house place blocks and use tourches and outher light sources to be safe in your build I recomend blocking it up with a door or some blocks you need a picaxe to quickly mine stone you can check controls by pressing [ESC] it's like pause without pauseing always becarful have fun.
