So I've been wondering something... Is Herobrine real? What do you think? I personally doubt it but I'm going to be researching him some! I will post an update soon about what I've learned. I think I may have had a Herobrine sighting but I'm not sure.. So I was exploring like normal and I found an extreme hills biome. I went to go mining there because you can get emeralds there but when I was looking for some I found NONE and found many holes where emeralds could have been! So yeah that's the story and ill update like I said in a few weeks so yeah! Bye!!

I know that Herobrine isn't real, plus a friend might have mined the emeralds, but if you were playing singleplayer, than I'll just go with what HisBlockyness said. I'm still glad you tried!
Given that pretty much all evidence about Herobrine is directed against him and there's no mention of him or anything like him in the code, I think we can all safely say that Herobrine is just a joke. This was started up by a guy years ago, and it hasn't been interesting since years ago. As for that emerald thing, emeralds are really rare and caves are full of random holes.

Herobrine is false. Ask modders, they should know (because they would have access to the codes of Mc). However, it is possible that the staff of Mc could have inputed some codes to act as evidence that Herobrine does exist, such as holes where you would find emeralds. Keep searching, I would like to be updated on your progress. You may find his even find his would-be-lair.
thats like thinking the presadent is fake. i mean have you ever met the presadent!?! you havent met herobrine ether.
P.S. if you know the prez say hi for me.

Because Minecraft is downloaded to our computers, we have access to full system reports. Many of people have torn apart those reports to search for any evidence of a Herobrine mob/player. Unless he is found, he doesn't exist, like innocent until proven guilty. And I don't know if the president is real, I just have faith (and that would mean that I don't know him). It's not right to think that Herobrine exists, but it doesn't mean that he does. And if I do meet the president, I would say hi for you. :)

Simple answer: ...Nope.

Obviously, it's just a joke by the creators in getting rid of the human mobs, or instances of it. Now, it's just became a running theme, since people still believe this nonsense. To be honest with you, I never really liked the "conspiracy" of Derp-o-brine (Yes, that's what I'll be calling him from now on), even as a naïve tween kid starting up Minecraft for the first time. I was interested in multiplayer servers (and I still am) as a kid, and not really Singleplayer. You can do it all you want, so let's see you prove me wrong with this "series" you're doing. I'm intrigued!
Why do people still believe this hoax. What has it been? Four years? It's been confirmed fake by Mojang staff members innumerable times. There is absolutely zero evidence for, and everything against.

Sorry for being so harsh, but I think it's time people let this hoax rest.
No, he's not real!
I used to think he was...
All the videos are FAKE!

I'm with this guy. :P
TBH I don't think he's real, but back in my early days of MineCraft, I would blame glitches on Herobrine, like random netherrack when I was mining
