This is my first rant on Planetminecraft, so please, enjoy the ride while my cherry is popped. I'm not much into the whole "angry rant" sort of thing like some people do, because when you're angry and rant, all common sense goes out the window, unless you're pretty good at proving your point even when angry, as I'm sure some of you are. Me however, I turn into a rambling buffoon when I anger-rant, so I'm good at waiting and ranting when I'm not seeing red and having visions of murdering someone. Besides, I like to troll, and it's hard to troll when you're the one being trolled, unless you're having a witty banter between another troll and you. I love trolls, I love being a troll, so anything you find troll-able about this, don't hold back, except maybe to the agreement of rules and regulations of Planetminecraft, because I care about my fellow trolls. Anyways, enough about this rainbow and unicorn kind of stuff, let's move on to the rant, shall we?

I recently encountered an article ranting about how Jeb updates too often for modders. First off, it's not just Jeb, stop pinning every bad and good decision on him, if you want to blame someone, blame all of Mojang as I'm about to do. If anything Jeb and the team don't update enough, there are way too many mods out there that they should just buy out and implement, I mean the people at Mojang are practically swimming in money, and they can't add an update with more than a few new blocks, items, and bug fixes? Minecraft isn't their baby any more, it's just their cash cow, and the only reason they actually update is to keep people interested. I've seen modders come up with things in days that takes Minecraft creators months. They just need to hire some interns that actually know how to code, and get them on the team. As far as I'm concerned, they either don't know how to code worth cattle feces, or they're just yanking our chain, I mean their first bad move was resorting to Java as their engine, so I'm hoping they just don't know how to code.

I'm sure you're probably thinking right about now that I should shut my yap and if I like Minecraft, play, if I don't, then quit. I love Minecraft, I play the everliving crap out of Minecraft, I wouldn't have a level 67 Planetminecraft account if I didn't, I'm getting the mobile version as soon as I get my new phone, I probably spend more time doing things involved in Minecraft than is probably healthy. So why am I complaining? It's because I want the creators to show as much dedication as a lowly fan. They use to shout at how we were going to get dragons, and more biomes, more items, more blocks, and more redstone stuff to play with, now we barely hear a whisper of what's to come. Most of what was promised hasn't happened, and the updates came slower, with more and more bugs. I don't know the first thing about coding for Java, and I'm not going to assume to know. But I do know there are more capable coders out there that could take charge and really give Mojang the UMP they need to satisfy the fanbase, and their fanbase is HUGE. I've literally convinced dozens of my friends to buy Minecraft, and they've convinced a good portion of theirs to buy the game too, and the chain continues. They have a one of a kind game no doubt, but they fail at one thing, fan service. Either they're too caught up in milking every dime they can squeeze out of the game, or their pride as programmers is blinding them from what they need to do, and they need to deliver. They have a good game, but there are so many more things they could add to it to make it better, I just wish they'd seek that path out a little more.

Oh well, I feel better now, even if nothing ever gets resolved by this rant, I can at least play Minecraft until the next update knowing that someone, at least one person out there reading this, agrees with me. I guess that's all any ranter or rantee can ask for. Hope you either had a good laugh or a pumped a fist into the air in mutual feelings to this rant, and see you all next time if there is one. TTFN
