Legend of The Lord Wesley the Creeper An alternate dimension of 19th century England

                Lord Wesley was in a deep and restless sleep when he was awoken by his maid Mitilda.

Mitilda: “Lord Wesley the king has called for you”

                Lord Wesley still have asleep cloudily responded

Lord Wesley: “Yes… Yes, please call for a cab Mitilda.

                Grudgingly Wesley made his way to his dresser.

Lord Wesley: “What shall I wear to my highnesses palace”

                Wesley always wanted to look his best for his majesty. He took the utmost care when dressing for an appearance before the king.  

Lord Wesley: “Mitilda” Wesley called “ Should I wear my black trouser or grey overall’s”

Mitilda: “Why sir you know I think you look lovely in your black trouser”

Lord Wesley: “Yes of course”

Wesley slowly slipped into his sleak two piece suit. He then made for the door.

As Wesley made his way to the carriage he could not but help to wonder why he had been called upon.  After all the fighting with the human rebels had seized. They were no longer a threat to the kingdom. After all what use would Wesley be, his army was disbanded after the 2nd battle of EdingBurgh.

Carriage driver:  “ We are here”

Wesley paid the driver his dues and exited the carriage.

Wesley: “I have been summoned by the king”

Wesley instructed one of the gate guards.

Gate guard: “ I’m sorry but I don’t see any meeting scheduled for you”

Wesley: “ What are you talking about”

Wesley snapped

Gate guard: “ Im sorry sir you are just going to have to leave”

Wesley: “ Why you ignorant bloat, I would be in my right mined court martialing you”

Gate Guard superior: “Let him pass donald, do you not know who this man is?”

Said a superior officer

Gate guard superior: “This man is a hero,”

Gate guard: “But sir…”

Gate guard superior: “I Said let him pass boy”

Said the superior sternly

Wesley: “Thank you”

Wesley made his way to the lobby. He saw linda the royal secretary. She would know if he had an appointment or not.

Wesley: “Linda”

Wesley said nervously

Linda: “yes lord Wesley, how may I be of service.”

Wesley: “ I have been led to believe that the king has called upon me”

Linda: “ Why yes he most certainly has, go right on in to the throne room”

Wesley: “ Thank you maddom, do you by any chance know what services he needs of me”

Linda: “ No I do not know of such things”

Wesley then made his way to the  throne room. The room was made of stone. As a result it was freezing inside. This is probably why the king always wore such heavy clothes. As Wesley entered the throne room he was shocked to find no one but the king. Usually the king was accompanied by 10 states men who instructed him. But they were no where to be seen.

King George: “Wesley , My Boy”

King George said warmly

King George: “It is a pleasure to have such a noble gentlemen as yourself in my midst’s”

Wesley: “I assure you the pleasure is all mine”

King George: “Wesley , I am in dire need of your aid”

King George: “ I need you to come back to active duty”

Wesley: “ Why of course sir, but my I ask why”

King George: “ Our backstabbing allies have all betrayed us. They have taken Glasgow from right under our noses.”

King George: “I need you and a army of several hundred creepers to recapture Glasgow and stop the bastards before it is too late”

Wesley: “Yes sir”

King George: “Best of luck to you”

Wesley exited the palace gleefully. He loved battle and was getting bored of civic life. He belonged out on the field. There he was free to do as he pleased. It was his favourite place to be.
