I was on LEGO CUUSOO today, (and if you don't know what that its were you come up with a Lego idea and if it gets enough people to "Support it" lego will make it an official product) and I saw a Lego minecraft idea, IT HAD

3415 SUPPORTERS IN 1 WEEK, WOW! Lego even said they might consider the idea if it had enough supports. The required amount of supports its 10,000 supports so were not very close. This post was to tell every one to go support it, we all know we want Lego minecraft sets, I mean COME ON its minecraft were talking about here.

It wasent my idea, so im not asking for supports, I just want it to happen.

(Oh and Mojang said they would let Lego do this ;D)

We all know we don't want some cheap plastic kids toy to be associated with minecraft, I mean its stupid when they take Assassins creed, or other games and turn them into some stupid gimmick, To me it feels like selling out.

Gotta say, I don't like this idea. LEGO is outrageously expensive. And what's the point? To get anywhere CLOSE to the Minecraft experience, you would need enough of these sets to fill a room at least.

I don't understand, isn't this the reason we have minecraft? so we DON'T have to get Lego minecraft Sets? and wouldn't this bring up a lot of copyright issues? Should i stop putting everything into question form now? ithinkso, don't you? done...

No copyright issues, Lego contacted Mojang and they said it would be ok for them to make the lego set if they got enough supporters. Plus, my internet connection is bad so having lego sets would mean I wouldn't have to be on the computer to "Play" minecraft.

But so if your internet connection is bad. You can play singleplayer and when playing with lego you'r playing alone unless some other kid comes over to your house.

Couldn't you just make these out of normal legos....everything is pretty simple. The only this you would need to get lego to do is produce the special mobs...since they already make pigs, chickens, etc. But then again there are very few lego stores that sell individual parts anymore so I guess it would be easier just to buy it as a set....
