as you guys might know we are making a Lord of the rings mod there will be on our server. the plan is that we will have a second server were the mods is on as well. the second server will be an event server. if you already can guess/ know what sort of event we will hold don't read the text below:

what is an event?

an event in this case is a planed date where will try to recreate a know battle/ campaign. example we could hold an event for the siege of helms deep (third age 3019) the 12th september 2013. then people can subscribe to be part of the event.
