After i made the color Guide i made a Shading Guide, this is it.
It's a very simple and fast way to shade skins!
I hope you like it!
And im sorry for my bad English!

Please leave some critique!

This is incredibly unspecific and just plain stupid. The point of a shading tutorial is to show people how to shade not tell them to shade...

This is one way to shade, but i use another way to make the colours a little nicer to look at.

Yes i do it too different...
But its the simplest way to shade. ;)

I wouldn't just do the easiest way, it doesn't matter how long a skin takes, it's about the looks, a much harder, yet better shading is always better than an easy, worse shading.

Yes i know.
But some people cant shade, this is a guide so they can learn it.

And come on, this is no worse shading... lol

Nice tutorial. I like that you use really dark shading, as I just gradually make it darker shades instead of using shadows. I'm too stubborn to use guides to help me with shading, though. :p

This helped me make my first skin, could you check it out and see how I did? I believe I did well on it, but I am a bit colorblind so my colors may not be... Well, good. I would still like some creative criticism as to help me make my future skins better and my skin quality to be better.

Thanks for the help,
~TC

For the first skin very good!

Check out my Color-Guide, because the colors you used are not so nice...
And maybe you must make it darker.
I use 40 for the Darken and Lighten tool.

What program are you using to making skins? I'm on my way to working on better shading. I'm trying to incorporate multiple colours to the skin.

But anyhow. If you could. perhaps take a look at my work, and PM me on the fields that I have to improve on.
I'd greatly appreciate it some helpful tips.
