I'm sure some of you have heard of an old glitch in Minecraft. It was an extremely rare mixup of letters in the title of Minecraft 1.2.5, and very few got it. It said; ''Minceraft.''

I, unfortunately, got this glitch. It was far worse than I anticipated though. Booting up the game showed a distorted title screen. Singleplayer and Multiplayer buttons were switched around, the nice background replaced with a flashing mess of the games textures all deformed and jumbled up.

Trying to click Singleplayer was futile; it denied my access to it. Only Multiplayer would function. I clicked it and saw a server preloaded into my list, the name was random binary code, and the ip was actual numbers however I couldn't make them out due to the random blocks of code put in between them.

I double clicked the server and was greeted with endless fields of coarse dirt. Some skulls hid in the dirt, along with redstone torches. My characters arm twitched in an unusual way, almost defying the simple movements that Minecraft had to offer. I pressed tab and it responded a few moments later.

What was unusual, was that despite there being no other names, mine was the second one down from the top. I assumed this meant there was an invisible name above mine.

Sure enough, text started to appear in chat, and this is when I got uncomfortable. Things like, ''end'' and ''the clock is ticking'' flooded the text boxes and one even stated; ''gcomin rfo uyo ndyla'' I later realized that taking the first letter and putting it as the last made it read; ''coming for you dylan''. It knew my name, somehow.

After this, the game crashed and reinstalled itself. I never knew what happened exactly, but I always now see random text documents on my computer now. They only read,

''mi' lstil eher''
