1.9 is a band new update comming to minecraft. It is nick named "The combat update" It has many new features such as, sheilds, potion effect arrows. My personal favourite addition is the new End which can be found going through a 1 block portal after defeating the EnderDragin in the End. It has tall plants (yes even taller than the Enderman!). Sometimes you can find "End fortresses" which contain the nasty shulkers which make you levitate but has amazing loot! I can't wait for the 1.9 update, Can you?
