How Minecraft Should've ended-

Steve shoots his last arrow at the dragon. In a magnificent air show, it disintegrates into hundreds of experience orbs. Joy overwhelms him as he trudges across the end stone to claim his prizes. Upon his arrival, he notices a huge portal before him. He collects all the colourful orbs scattered around him, and with a deep breath, he plunges into the sparkly darkness, and in an instant, everything goes black. 

Steve awakens on a double bed in a gold room. He looks left and right and sees sunlight shining in through windows on both sides of him. He arises and staggers over to a wooden wardrobe in the corner of the room. Inside is loaded with wonderful diamond weapons and armour. He gears himself up and wanders to the wooden door. He takes a breath, and shoulders it open. He trips over a stone at the door and stumbles over onto the wet grass. 

As Steve gathers his bearing and hops back up. He looks around. All he can see is beauty. Sunshine lights up the whole world. Beautiful flowers and white fluffy clouds. Steve feels like he's in heaven. The tress are tall and healthy, and absolutely packed with wonderful flowers. He see's no animals, although as he wanders further, he approaches what seems to be a cliff. Looking over he can see hundreds of beautiful grassy island scattered, although they aren't linked, they are floating...

Steve gasps, he is in a world made of  incredible floating islands, where is he? Looking around more, he sees moving creatures in the distance. They are huge and making deep, loud sounds. He becomes very curious of where he is. Behind him he hears what sounds like a blocks being placed.He turns around and finds a sign. 

The sign reads,"Welcome To The Aether...".

That how Minecraft should've ended :)

I've actually Gameplayed long enough to see the end of minecraft. Twice.


I seriously hope notch implements this.






Now if I could Just get my own mod to work... grr

Umm I have one thing to say, The game doesent actually END. It only shows credits and random stuff that Notch and Jeb wrote. And Minecraft doesent have Mod Support so if this were to be allpied to the actuall game no on will be able to go to the Aether, and there are no sgns that say welcome to the Aether and I know that as a Fact beacause I have the Aether Mod. and why does it say "he sees no Mobs" there are Mobs in the Aether. but they are not Over World Mobs but there are Mobs in the Aether.

I can easily answer all your questions.


1. Aether would be added to minecraft, it wouldn't be a mod anymore.
2. Minecraft DOES basically end, once you kill the enderdragon you are in free play or something because the only thing left to do in that world is build and kill and build endlessly.
3. He just happens to be unable to see any mobs.
4. The sign was that I could actually tell you where he wanted to be.

Great job :O I've never used the Aether mod, but you're story was able to paint a picture in my head of what it would look like, and it was amazing. Keep it up! :D

i may have disliked the end of minecraft for a bit, but this, just get the aether mod, then after you finish the game, go to the aether, simple as that.

Yeah but how much EASIER and cooler would it have been if you didn't have to install mods, because there are a lot of.. ummm... beginners out there who have no clue how to install  mods.
