Ever wondered why Minecraft was limited to an overworld with a height of just 256? Well you are not alone! If Minecraft had a world in space, that would be just fantastic!
When you think of "Minecraft in space" you will probably think of 0x10c. 0x10c is completely different. In fact, it is a whole new game! It will be released in March 2013 and will be about jumping starships and DCPU-16s and so on. If Minecraft would be in space, there should be rocket ships, many planets and maybe even Alien mobs.
There can be many things that Steve can do in space such as mine ores, get rare materials and fight off a massive alien boss in which he can use to go to the end. Maybe Steve must have full Astronaut armour before he enters otherwise he dies. Steve can fly when not in a gravitational field. Items will float too. To leave Space, Steve just needs to float down to the void and he will appear on block 256 and fall until he reaches ground. This will be a harmless fall.
Steve can use gravitational items from Space to alter some of the gravity on earth. He can make it that anyone who enters his house will float to the celling. He can also make it that you can go in circles with gravity, but that would just be the most epic troll ever!
NPC villages in space will be on big planets and hold peaceful aliens and 'gold golems' to protect the villagers. Chunks will be a bit larger. If you go out of reach of the earth, when you go down far enough, you will die as if you were in the void. Be careful.
Sleeping in space will not only cause an explosion, but a massive comet to launch. Comets can be launched with special guns too. If Steve uses fireworks in reach of earth, everyone on earth can see them!
