Hey guys in this blog i'm gonna show you how to fix Minecraft Lag completely it worked for me and my friends and im sure it will work for you!
Now first off change your settings to the settings below to eliminate most lag:
FOV: 90
Particles: Minimal
Graphics: Fast
Performance: Max FPS
Render Distance: About 4-8 (Less chunks = less lag)
GUI Scale: Normal
View Bobbing: Off
VSync: Off
Brightness: Does not matter
Mipmap Level: 0
Max Framerate: Unlimited

Ok so thats most of the lag now for the rest follow the steps below:
1. Open Task Manager by pressing CTRL, ALT, And DEL at the same time

2. Find javaw.exe right click it and hit Set Affinity

3. Make sure CPU and CPU 0 is checked

4. Right click it again and click Set Priority and click high

5. Restart MC and diamond if this worked for you!

If you have Windows 8 and you cannot find Set Affinity do this
> Open task manager
> Right click java
> Hit go to details
> Now try again!

NOTE: If it doesnt work then your internet needs to be addressed.

Optifine settings coming soon!!!

Hey, this guide doesn't apply to bedrock. It's written for Java, they are catastrophically different. They were written using different programing languages. The version this guide is written for is written in Java. While bedrock is written in c++. And no shared code is used between them.

Bedrock optimization.:

There's not much to do since bedrock is highly optimized already.

Method 1:
Even the Intel HD (now UHD[no difference]) can run it fluently. So there may be a virus in your computer,
The built-in Windows Defender should be enough. Scan your whole system.
After Defender finishes scanning you should scan with Malwarebytes, google it.

Method 2:
Go to in-game settings and lower chunk distance. Lower Anti-Aliasing. Turn off fancy clouds and the rest. And on world generation lower simulation distance. Go to task manager, and on the top there should be 'details' on there find something mentioning minecraft, right click select priority and select high.(you need to do this every time you open it.)

Method 3:
Press the windows keys and x, a window should pop up. Select PowerShell (Admin) and paste this into it.

powercfg -duplicatescheme e9a42b02-d5df-448d-aa00-03f14749eb61
After that press windows key+x again and this time select Power Options, on the left side of the settings app there should be "additional power settings" click that, on there should be "Ultimate Performance" click the circle left of it and exit. (If its not there click Hide Additional Power Plans)That's it, i suspect that the case is you have a virus or your anti virus is crap. And
registering on any website on the web requires you to be above the age 13 (due to law).

My Minecraft won't stop lagging with even the newest versions! I've tried all of these tips, and I cannot find the javaw.exe in the Task Manager! Any other lag-killing tips?

okay, so, my Minecraft is really good even with 32 Chunks, I'm currently playing with forge 1.12.2 because I don't really play with modpacks, nor with Optifine, i just prefer it that way since I'm familiar with Forge more, I have 45 mods currently, and they were all perfectly, my Minecraft has only caught up to lagging, well not lagging.I don't know how to explain this but, it freezes over at least 5-10 seconds, and works fine after at least 30 or 40 seconds and it repeats, other than that I really don't know how or what happened, I think it's either the mods I have or I just need to update my Forge, I need some help, if anyone has, or had has this problem.
