Ok before everyone spams the forums and blogs i'm going to post a official blog about this problem, at 5:38pm GMT+1 the Minecraft multiplayer sessions went down, thus making it so no one can join a server, if you are on a server and reading this do not leave or you will not be able to join back until the error is fixed.
!This service is down! We are doing our very best to resolve the issue as soon as possible.!
Obviously the Mojang team are working on bringing the servers back up, so please do not keep asking in the forums or chat and post on here for more feedback and information about the crash.
