Deep under the ground
Somewhere safe and sound
Lies a precious ore that I need
Not only because of my greed
Diamonds, blue strong and sharp
Shining in the uttermost dark
Of the caves and ravines that I explore
To find all of the magnificent ore
My iron pickaxe, battered and broken
Needs to last for me to mine
All of the ores, and set them smeltin’
To get better tools, armor that’s fine
3 Hours I have looked, and nothing! I’ve found
That these caves are very deprived
Of good ores, and here is the sound
Of a spider, and I hope I do not find
Any of the monsters that lurk in the dark
But rather some of the gems that I’ve sought
And precious blue metals, that are important to me.
Well, I guess I should start again at layer fourteen.
