Minecraft Pros and Cons



Hey guys and gals! StrangleMonkey here with another blog for you guys :D! Today I will be blogging about the pros and cons of playing Minecraft towards a person's life. Here you will see some or most effects of Minecraft towards someone's life. Pros (+)

Of course as we all know there are good things that come out of playing minecraft. It's a great game that a lot of people around the world enjoy. Including me, other pmc users, and YOU!!!! So I will be listing the main things I believe minecraft helps and does towards us that has a positive effect.
  • It's fun of course!
  • It can bring people around the world together and let them have fun.
  • It can be used as an architectural tool due to creative mode allowing you to build what you wish.
  • It increases the creativeness of the people whom play it.
  • It can also increase one's art skills by making skins and posting it here at PMC.
  • It can even help one's ability to write by creating blogs.
  • It can let you put your java skills to work by creating mods and plugins.
  • Let's you show off your skill by joining contests.
  • Most of the people that play minecraft are kind!(atleast the ones I've seen)
  • Earn money by creating videos, posting them on youtube, and getting partnership!

As you have read the list above ^^^. There are many pros/positive effects of playing Minecraft. There are probably more things that minecraft can do for you. But as I said there are still cons to this game we all enjoy playing. (You think there is another positive effect that minecraft can do? Tell me down below and I'll place it here and your name ;)!)

Cons (-)
As I had written in the pros section of this blog, there are indeed many things that minecraft can do for us. Even though there are many good things about minecraft, there are still bad things. To be honest everything I had listed up there could be a con if you spend all your time on it and forget about school or work. So here is a list of cons.
  • Getting over-addicted to Minecraft that you forget to do your homework or study.
  • Getting over-addicted to Minecraft to the point that you plan all your new projects at school/work and forget to listen to your boss/teacher.
  • Playing too long to the extent in which you forget to pee, eat, poop, or take a shower.
  • It can bring you to the point in which you will get angry at losing and start cussing/swearing at people when they beat you.
  • It can enhance creativeness but it also allows you to create inappropriate builds. ( I suggest not doing this)
  • Playing minecraft to the point that you avoid your family members.
Wow there sure are quite an amount of cons on playing minecraft. Most of these can be cost by getting over-addicted to minecraft. Remember that over-addiction is different from loving the game.
