Alright, well I got all the achievements in Minecraft for the Xbox, so I decided to share a guide telling the easiest ways to get all these achievements. And since there is a blog contest going on for tutorials, ito s the perfect time to put this up!





1. Taking Inventory (10 G)


Really nothing to it, simply press whatever button your control setting has for inventory, the default is (Y).





2. Getting Wood (10 G)





Just go up to the nearest tree when you start, and start hitting it with RT, and when a block comes out, grab it, and this achievement should be yours.





3. Benchmarking (10 G)





Once you get wood from the tree and get the o Getting Woodo achievement, press (X) to go to the Crafting menu, and craft it into wooden planks. Then craft the wooden planks into a Crafting Table, and thato s all!





4. Time to Mine! (10 G)





After you make a crafting table, get some more wood so that you have at least 5 wooden planks. Craft 2 of the planks into sticks. Youo ll need 3 wooden planks and 2 sticks to make a wooden pick, so that will be enough to get a pick and the achievement.





5. Hot Topic (15 G)





Youo ll need both a wooden pick and a crafting table for this one. Use your wooden pick to mine 8 cobblestone blocks, which will be retrieved from mining the smooth, grey stone. Then go to the crafting table and use those 8 cobblestone blocks to make a furnace.





6. Time to Farm! (10 G)





Same deal as the pickaxe achievement, just that this time you only need 2 wooden planks, not 3.





7. Getting an Upgrade (15 G)





Use your wooden pickaxe to mine 3 cobblestone blocks. Go back to your crafting table and use those cobblestone blocks to make a stone pickaxe.





8. Time to Strike! (10 G)





This one is for making a sword, so take 2 wooden planks and a stick, and then make a wooden sword at your crafting table.





9. Monster Hunter (20 G)





First things first, make sure your game is on easy or harder before you even attempt this achievement. Once you make sure of that, get your wooden sword and either wait until nighttime, or wander around in a cave. The easiest monster to kill is the Zombie, but if you want to go for a Skeleton or Spider, it will still work. I dono t suggest going for creepers yet though.





10. Cow Tipper (15 G)





Get a sword and wander around the world at daytime. You should come across cows pretty easily. Just keep killing them until one of them drops leather, and youo ll get the achievement.





11. MOAR Tools (15 G)





For this achievement youo ll need a crafting table. Once you have that, get 8 sticks and 9 wooden planks. Use that to make a wooden sword, a wooden axe, a wooden shovel, and a wooden hoe.





12. Delicious Fish (15 G)





There are many ways to get this achievement, but Io ll tell you guys the way I did it, which I think is the easiest way. First, load up the tutorial. There are 2 chests in the spawning area. One is filled with boats, ignore that one. Go to the one filled with fishing rods. Take a fishing rod, and press [LT] to make the bobber go in the water. Once the bobber dips under, press [LT], and you should get a fish. If it doesno t give you a fish, keep trying, youo ll get one eventually. After you get a fish, get 2 wooden blocks from one of the nearby trees. There should be a pre-built furnace in the spawn area. Go to the furnace and put both of the wood blocks in the fuel space and the fish in the ingredient fish. Youo ll get a cooked fish, and the achievement!





13. Acquire Hardware (15 G)





For this one, get a stone pickaxe and go into a cave. Find some iron ore, which looks like a regular stone block with little beige-ish grooves in it. Once you get out of the cave, smelt that block in a furnace, and youo ll get the ingot and the achievement.





14. Bake Bread (20 G)





Stay on the tutorial for this one. There are two NPC villages on the tutorial. The main village by the Minecraft logo doesno t have anything. Instead use blocks to climb out of the spawn area, and go the other way. Youo ll find another village there. There is a small wheat farm. Wheat that is ready to be harvested looks brown, so take 3 of these. Then go to a crafting table, and craft bread out of the 3 wheat to get the achievement.





15. The Lie (40 G)





This one CANNOT be done on the tutorial, because sugar cane does not spawn on the tutorial. Instead, start a new world and search the shores for sugar cane. Find 2 sugar canes, and craft them into 2 sugar. Then get a chicken egg. You can get this any way you choose. If you would rather stalk a chicken, find one randomly, or trap a chicken is all your choice. Then use a hoe to grow 3 stalks of wheat. Get 9 iron ingots after that, and craft them into 3 buckets, and just milk a cow 3 times to get the milk. Then go to a crafting table to make a cake. The cake may be a lie, but the achievement isno t.





16. On A Rail (40 G)





Honestly this achievement is annoying and the easiest way to get it is to go on someone elseo s world and mooch off their rail. But Io ll tell you how to do it legit. You will need 3 redstone, 34 sticks, 18 gold bars and 186 iron bars. Use that to make 18 powered rails and 496 normal rails. To make the trail, you will need to level some hills, make tunnels, create bridges, nothing special. You should put 1 powered rail every 31 normal rails. Once it is done, simply put a mine cart on the beginning of it, and go on the track. Make sure your cart doesno t fly off the ends of the rail.





17. Into The Nether (40 G)





You need to get diamonds for this achievement. After you get diamonds, make a diamond pickaxe, and use that to mine 10 blocks of obsidian and 4 blocks of cobblestone. Then make a structure that looks like this, with each O representing an obsidian block and each X representing a cobblestone block.

The cobblestone blocks dono t need to be there, I just use them to make construction easier. After the structure is complete, light up the interior with a flint and steel, and hop in. After a couple of seconds, youo ll be teleported to the Nether. I dono t think you need to go into the Nether for the achievement, but some people dono t get the achievement unless they actually go through the portal.





18. Dispense With This (20 G)





Youo ll need your game on easy or harder and you will also need an iron pickaxe for this achievement. First get 7 cobblestone blocks. Then use your iron pickaxe to mine some redstone. Redstone looks like normal stone with little red grooves in it. Youo ll get about 4 or 5 redstone from one redstone ore. Then go kill some Spiders. Once you get 3 string, make sure you also have 3 sticks. Go to a crafting table and make a bow out of the string and the sticks. After you make the bow, go to the mechanisms tab on the crafting menu and make a dispenser. Dispensers are kinda useless now, since they removed the duping glitch.





19. Leader of The Pack (30 G)





This achievement is the MOST ANNOYING ACHIEVEMENT EVER. Well, thato s because it is a luck achievement. Put the game on easy so you can kill some skeletons. Get the bones, and go looking for wolves. Give a wolf a bone, and it will be your pet. It might not work the first time though, so keep trying. Once it is tamed (it will have a little red leash on its neck to tell you that its tamed) go find 4 more wolves and tame them.





20. When Pigs Fly (40 G)





Before anything, find a dungeon, which is a little room underground that is made out of mossy cobblestone, and contains a monster spawner as well as several chests. If you are lucky you will find a saddle in one of those chests. When you get back to the surface, find a pig and surround it with fences. Then build a deep ditch in a complete circle around it. Then get into the area where the pig is trapped. Destroy the fences, and make the pig fall down the ditch. I made sure that it was deep enough that the pig would die, but I dono t think thato s necessary, the pig just needs to take damage.
