Quiver in Minecraft

The quiver is a sprite located in Minecraft's items.png resource file. It has no actual item in-game and thus is impossible to obtain. This object would be a great small addition to Minecraft as one could put all his arrows in it, to make it more good looking the quiver could be worn on the players back. Up to a certain number of arrows could be carried in it (ex. 5 stacks of arrows).

How will it work:

Crafting the Arrow Packs for the Quiver:

To put the (example) 2 stacks of arrows in your quiver first you have to craft an arrow pack which will be used only to be put in the quiver (normal arrows can't be put in the quiver) by simply putting how many stack of arrows you want anywhere in the crafting table as shown below:

The GUI for the inventories will be as shown:

I am trying to find a website that has a quiver adding tutorial. If you havent made this into a mod already, go for it for now I am giving you a diamond for the idea.

There was actually one but it's outdated, I don't now how to do a mod If you would like to do it feel free I'll send you the textures if you want :D Thank for the Diamond !!

That's ok but your going to upload it as your mod? if so put a link to this blog and use my picture (the green bacjgrounded one on top) as the diplay picture for the mod thanks

I think the Quiver box should hold 2 stacks of 128 arrows (: And the 2 boxes only appear when you wear the quiver :3

that's a good suggestion but the first box will always be there to put the quiver in(wear it) and the second box (under it) will appear once u wear the quiver
