Hey Guys! It's Eli Here! Back with a Darker Font than most Font Colors! Now, I couldn't find another shade of Pink, so this will do for now. If you liked the pink, let me know if you want it back! If you like this color, good; because this is an experimental Font Color for those who despised the blindness of my pink font. Those of you new to my Blog Series, I'm sorry I confused you. Here's a Link to get rid of further confusion... I'm sorry for the font color change, it just had to be done!
Digressions aside, Let's get to the actual blog itself! Now, in case you didn't know, PMC is in a teensy bit of a blue period in terms of blogs (Biased Opinions!), so I thought another blog about cats would brighten someone's mood! One day, I got immensely bored and decided to look up the word "Neko" again (That's how I discovered Neko Atsume by the way!). I scrolled through the weird knockoffs and bootlegs until I found a cuddly little game called Klepto Cats (I don't know how I got Klepto Cats from the word "Neko, but who cares).
Klepto Cats is a game where you have a cat who steals things from other places and brings them back to you. You can get more cats and inventory items to make sort of a "Cat City". There's also Gems you can buy cats with, and a Gold Cat you can spam the ever living crap out of to get some coins.
It's actually a bit more expansive than Neko Atsume, as you can dress up the Cats too. Heck, there's even some Steven Universe items you can get in the game! I actually dressed up a cat as Peridot, and by golly gosh, it's still my main one I send out! Not only can you dress them up as SU Characters, but even Pokémon, Gravity Falls, Dragon Ball, Final Fantasy, and a crap load more of references! There's even more references in the items your cats can collect!
There's many cats with many designs, and some have weirder color schemes than the ones shown in Neko Atsume. They even have their own names and personalities, and you can rename them too just like in Neko Atsume! They look appealing too, but you don't actually have to collect them all if you're wanting all the Items. You could just beat the game with just one cat and a little patience!
Now to get a cat to go out, you have two options: Petting or Feeding. Feeding your cat is a bit slow, but it feels like you're giving your cat some love. Petting the cat can "Rapidly" increase it's love by these two methods: Slapping the ever living Ba-Jeebs out of it in a sign of rage (...And they somehow love it?), or holding the hand longer to get a wide range of cute emotions from your cat, increasing your love bigger than Slapping it. I actually prefer the 2nd Option of petting, because it just feels natural and real. The Slapping one is great for Dog Lovers to let out their rage, though.
Once you either Fed, Pet, or Slapped your cat to the point of no return, you'll see the heart/love meter go up to 100%. Hit the "Go Out" button and you'll see a time limit. That's actually the time your cat will come back. Unlike Neko Atsume, this Time Limit prevents spamming the "Open and Close" method of getting cats, or this case (Since it's Klepto Cats), items. So you can either use the Bell for 100 Coins if you're desperate for that item, or you can leave and do whatever it is you do outside of your phone. It's basically Neko Atsume's gameplay, but expanded in a way.
There's daily coins/gems and even that spam the living Ba-Jeebs out of that Gold Cat I mentioned earlier, and a secret room you can unlock with the safe in the options menu! Unfortunately, the room is unusable for now, which really sucks... While you wait, there's even a Minigame where you can get even more coins, so it's kinda like a fun time-waster!
"Hey Eli! This game is sounding too perfect! What are it's flaws?" Yes my Smart Donkey, we're at that point of the blog to start mentioning those flaws. Now, the first thing I despise is that it's so hard to get gems. Gems in the store are 250 Coins, and at the beginning, it's hard to get 4 of them to get a new cat! Not only that, but if you're getting some clothes, some even cost a lot of gems! It may tease you to buy gems with real money, but it takes patience to get them without spending a dime. I'm literally unable to view Ads to get gems (Because I use a thing on my phone to make it shut up Ads about Arby's new stupid sandwich or those maniacal fire commercials that will never go away on YouTube), but that's a nitpick since I can live without it. I also don't like how the Cats don't actually wear the clothes they give you in the background, which is why I never switch out my main Peridot Cat.
The next one isn't really a flaw, but a nitpick. The internet may ruin this for you, but there's a secret dark story about these cats. The game has this sense of unease, even though it's so darn cute. I won't ruin it for you, but by gosh, the internet ruined the game for me (especially while I was searching up this game for in-game-passwords)!
Nitpicking aside, this game is underrated and fun! Here's the ratings for it (Note I'm using the ratings from the Neko Atsume review, so...)!

Visuals:
10/10! Just like Neko Atsume, this game is so darn cute!
Gameplay:
8/10! Very Expansive, but you'll come back more than what Neko Atsume does.
Non-Greediness:
6/10! Sure, it'll tempt you to throw money at it, but you'll resist it and continue without a problem.
Fun:
8/10! If you look past the internet's perception of it's creepy backstory, the gameplay is about as fun as Neko Atsume's.
Overall, I'd say it gets a 32/40. Don't let the lower rating than Neko Atsume's review fool you. It's underrated and underappreciated to the point where it needs some love. If you like Neko Atsume, you'll like this one!

One of the rooms has a mirror, where you can see your reflection.. However...
Something's... off.... You, the player, are tied to a chair.
Why? The cats. Are. EVIL!
"Perfect for satanic rituals" Why is that an item?
"U ok?" Why would you get a text from your friend, asking if you're ok.
The knives. Cats in the background holding knives. The satanic ritual circle...
The tv with symbols?
It all makes sense.... the cats aren't as cuddly as they seem now...
But, what if it's just a mistake, right?
